Minneapolis: 8.0

Shoreview: 8.0

Shakopee: 8.0

Cambridge: 7.8

Edina: 7.5

Mound: 7.5

Eden Prairie: 7.5

Watertown: 7.5

Brooklyn Park: 7.0

Bloomington: 7.0

St. Paul: 7.8

Hinckley: 6.5

Becker 6.0

MSP Airport: 5.9

Lakeville: 4.7

New Prague: 4.5

Mankato: 4.0

Little Falls: 3.5

Rochester: 3.2

You can expect grand totals of 6 to 9 inches in the Twin Cities metro and 8 to 12 inches to the north and northwest. If the airport can get more than 7.4 inches of snow this storm, we will enter the Top 10 list for April snowstorms.

WEATHER TIMELINE

Friday morning: Another 1 to 2 inches of snow as the flakes taper off by lunchtime.

Friday afternoon: Breezy this afternoon with a chilly high of 36. We may even see some peeks of sun by sunset.

Friday night: The sky clears as we dip back to near 20 degrees.

Saturday/Sunday: Plenty of melting for the weekend with a sunny Saturday at 45 and a slightly cloudier Sunday with 48. 40s, 50s and 60s wait for us next week!
