The University of Connecticut issued the following alert:

11:35am Update: Classes resume at 12:30 p.m. Tasker Bldg. still under investigation and closed. All other campus areas clear and can resume as normal. http://alert.uconn.edu

10:50am Update: Please remain inside until receiving all-clear. All classes beginning at 12:30 p.m./later will resume as scheduled. Next update 11:30 a.m. See alert.uconn.edu

9:50am Update: all faculty, staff and students who are travelling to Storrs campus or plan to travel to campus, are advised to stay off campus at this time until further direction is provided.

At approximately 9:30am, an alert for a bomb threat to the Tasker Building on Storrs Campus was issued (aka Admissions). If you are in or near this building, evacuate now. All other locations on campus, shelter in place. Do not make independent decision to evacuate. Check back with alert.uconn.edu for updates and additional instructions
