Spring has sprung and we have officially checked off the month of March as the trek to warmer weather continues. Here in the Upper Midwest, we can't put away the snow shovels just yet, as our April showers could easily be white vs wet, but we can look for less of the white stuff and more blossoms of spring.
Temperatures are also on the rise as our average lows and average highs continue to gain momentum. Our average high starts off at 50° and ends up at 65° by month's end.
The amount of daylight keeps growing as well.
As far as the extremes, April is no joke. We have seen all kinds of weather during the fourth of the year.
This April has a little something special to off us. A lunar eclipse on April 15th. This is a late one, starting at 1 AM with the Moon appearing completely red at approximately 2 AM and ending at about 3:25 am. Tune in for weather forecast for this one.
