The growing trend in street trucks has nothing to do with food and everything to do with shopping. These mobile fashion trucks are popping up in places such as the Rose Bowl Flea Market, college campuses, street fairs Malibu, and will soon be heading out to the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. There are about 20 in Southern California right now, but the number is growing. Selvedge Dry Goods is a vintage clothing boutique owned by Monique Cruz. Her mobile store is about a year old and started with a small investment of under $10,000. Cruz puts her fashion background to good use. Not only does she sell vintage clothing, but she takes old clothes and turns them into beautiful new designs. Check out their website for a calendar of where they will be and when they'll be there!
