ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -

Jennifer Beardsley is working toward being an EMT, and she already has one amazing survival story to tell.

The 37-year-old woman was driving through St. Paul around 8:30 p.m. Saturday night when an SUV went off an Interstate 94 flyover ramp and landed on top of her car on the street below.

The Minnesota State Patrol said 38-year-old Eric Fuentes of St. Paul lost control of his Ford Explorer on the ramp from 5th Street to westbound I-94, landing his SUV on top of Beardsley's Kia Sportage.

Fuentes is in serious condition and Beardsley sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and no alcohol was detected at the scene.

Fox 9's Scott Wasserman caught up with Beardsley, hear her amazing survival story tonight on Fox @ 5.
