The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources eagle cam has its first eaglet of spring.

"Spring has sprung!" the DNR posted on Twitter. "And DNR's eaglecam nest has its first eaglet! Two more eggs to hatch…."

Help us name the eaglet at http://on.fb.me/1hmDvei

The DNR is streaming live video of a nesting pair of bald eagles on its website. DNR biologists believe the pair is the same birds that used the nest last year. Watch live at http://www.webcams.dnr.state.mn.us/eagle/

The eagles failed to hatch their eggs last year, but they've already welcomed a new eaglet and have two more eggs in the nest this spring.

The exact location of the nest is being withheld to protect the eagles and prevent large crowds.
