Snow Day Relief For Pa. Schools? May Mean Longer Days, Saturdays

PHILADELPHIA -

It's finally over. We're talking about winter, and there are lots of people who are glad to see it come to an end.

And it turns out Pennsylvania public school students may not have to go way into June to make up for all of our snow days this winter.

The state Senate passed a bill giving schools more flexibility on how to make up those days.

That measure would allow educators to extend days or hold classes one Saturday a month.

The bill is headed to the state House of Representatives.
