Its the story of the "Haves" and "Have Nots" when it comes to the latest "Winter Wallop". Our latest storm dropped the heaviest snow just to the Northwest of the metro. Officially at Twin Cities International, the most this storm could deliver was 2.9". However, look at the map below and you can see that you don't have to venture too far to find a lot more snow than that.

Below are the latest snow totals as of Wednesday afternoon. Don't worry, sunshine and 40s for Thursday will put a serious dent in most of these totals.

The last 2 official days of winter and it was awfully wintry for many as rounds of snow rolled through the Dakotas, Minnesota, andWisconsin.  Much of the metro saw 1 to 4inches of the white stuff but there was a thin band of far heavier snow with 5to 10 inches arcing from South Dakota through central Minnesota and into northern Wisconsin.  Temperatures were hovering in the upper 20's and low 30's making it a bit wetter and heavier snow than what we have been used to through most of the winter.  Here is a couple different looks at how the snow fell across the area, and a list of totals from the National WeatherService, Facebook, and Twitter.
