BUCKS COUNTY, Pa. -

"The last time she heard sirens she was on an ambulance fighting for her life. So these sirens were sirens of joy," said Jaylea's Dad, Jason Heim.

Sounds of joy were among a show of love by Levittown's finest for 7 year old Jaylea Heim. She came finally home after weeks battling the H1N1 virus in a Florida hospital bed.

Jaylea was in the hospital with a high fever and struggling to breath.

It took doctors days d to clear out the fluid in and around Jaylea's lungs.

On March 4th Jaylea started to make some progress. The doctors were able to remove the ventilator and drainage tube and now the little girl can sit up on her own.

Then on March 14th all the tubes have been removed and Jaylea could start to walk again.

She finally made it home right in time for Saint Patrick's Day to a huge extended family.

"My brother in law said there was going to be a few people to meet us," said Jason as he looked around at the welcoming group.

Firefighters, first responders, and members of the community came out to support Jaylea…even Disney princesses were waiting to hand out hugs .

"When somebody gets sick somebody is on their death bed that's when everyone comes around and helps each other," said Jaylea's Mom, Leah Heim.

Michelle Audy with Lower Bucks First Responders helped organize the welcome home and raise almost $13,000 to help the family with medical bills.

She only wants one simple thing.

"As long as I see a smile. That's the end result. Just a smile," said Audy.

Looks Like Jaylea is all smiles once again.
