"Fans Rule" During Harlem Globetrotters Atlanta Stop

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA, Ga. -

You've whistled their theme song and you've tried a basketball spin or two, but nobody can match the pure skill and entertainment of the Harlem Globetrotters.

The talented team is making a stop in Atlanta on Saturday, March 15 as part of the 2014 "Fans Rule" tour. Before they play Philips Arena and Gwinnett Center, though -- team member Buckets Blakes thrilled some local kids during a series of "goodwill appearances" at local schools. Blakes is a 6'2" player from Arizona, and apparently boasts one of the very best half court "granny shots" around!

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken (who is not 6'2" -- in case you're wondering) spent the morning trying to learn a thing or two from Buckets Blakes with the students at Centennial Place Elementary in Atlanta. Did it work? Click the videos above to find out!
