Tempe Police on Wednesday confirmed a grand jury found enough evidence to charge Sharper in the alleged November 2013 sexual assault. Two women told Tempe Police that Sharper gave them a drink laced with sedatives. Sharper then allegedly raped the women while they were unconscious.

Police in Los Angeles and Tempe are the only ones to have charged Sharper at this time. The judge in the case has held Sharper in Los Angeles awaiting charges from New Orleans but has said he will release Sharper if New Orleans' does not file charges.
