High School Students Blast Justin Bieber's 'Baby' For A Fundraiser
Justin Bieber has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons ,but at one Washington High School his music is causing students to pony up for a good cause.
Tenino High School Student Government members decided to play Bieber's hit song "baby" over the loud speakers Monday during breaks between classes and at lunch time.
If students wanted the music to stop they would have to donate money for African orphans in Ghana.
The goal was to raise $500.
By early Tuesday, the student government raised more than $900!
"We actually have one of our ASB Officers who's in love with Justin Bieber and loves the music, so she doesn't want it to stop, whatsoever. But we have a lot of kids who are really against listening to Justin Bieber all day, just because they really don't like him," said Student Body President, Connor Stakelin.
The high school hopes to raise at least $1200with this fundraiser and others.
