Fatal shooting in south Minneapolis, suspect at large

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Minneapolis police are searching for a suspect following a fatal shooting in south Minneapolis.

Police found 23-year-old Anthony Fairbanks dead of a gunshot wound to the head after receiving a report that multiple shots were fired at about 10 p.m. on Saturday near the intersection of Longfellow Avenue South just north of East 28th Street.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner ruled Fairbanks death was a homicide, and although Minneapolis police continue to investigate, no arrests have been made.
