MACON, Ga. (AP) - Marquita Daniels scored 19 points to lead Southwest Atlanta Christian to a 57-52 win over previously undefeated Holy Innocents Saturday in the GHSA Class A private school state championship game.

Amy Griffin added 15 points for the Warriors, who dressed only seven players and played just six.

Southwest Atlanta Christian won its second state title. The Warriors (26-5) lost in the state championship game the previous two seasons.

The Warriors held the lead for just under eight minutes in the game, but that lead included the final 6:30 of the game. They took control with a 15-2 run that began with a minute to play in the third quarter, resulting in an eight-point lead midway through the fourth quarter.

Khayla Pointer led the Bears (29-1) with 13 points, while Erika Cassell scored 12 points and had 18 rebounds.
