ALAPAHA, Ga. (AP) - The Federal Bureau of Investigation and local police and sheriff's deputies are searching for suspects in the armed robbery of a south Georgia bank.

The FBI said two gunmen dressed in black "battle dress/military-type" uniforms entered the Bank of Alapaha in Berrien County and announced a robbery around 10 a.m. Friday.

Authorities say the men forced bank employees to lay face-down on the floor. They say one suspect vaulted the teller counter with a handgun and what appeared to be an explosive device.

The suspects left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money. A badly burned white four-door sedan -- believed to be the getaway vehicle -- was found about 3.5 miles away.

No serious injuries were reported.

Alapaha is about 60 miles southeast of Albany.
