Bullets Fly Through Windows Of Philly Firehouse

PHILADELPHIA -

Police are investigating after gunshots were fired nearby and struck a Philadelphia firehouse, leaving two bullet holes in windows.

The gunfire rang out shortly after 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Kensington.

No one was hit when two of the shots went through windows at the Philadelphia Fire Dept. station on Hart Lane at Boudinot Street.

A FOX 29 News crew was at the scene and got shots of the two bullet holes plus six shell casings on the ground.

Police later confirmed that two shots went through the firehouse windows. No arrests have been made, and there were no descriptions of any possible suspects.

The Hart Lane station houses Engine 25 and Medic 8.
