MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

A crowd-sourced traffic scorecard says Minneapolis is the 16th most congested city in the country.

The INRIX survey looks at traffic, congestion and commute times in NorthAmerica. In the U.S., traffic congestion was up 6 percent in 2013 with the average driver in America's Ten Worst Traffic Cities wasting on average 47 hours in traffic (up from 42 hours in 2012).

In Los Angeles, the most congested city, drivers spend, on average, 64.4 hours in traffic each year. In Minneapolis, drivers waste an average of 24.5 hours in traffic each year and 3.6 hours each month.
