CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Two young sisters reported missing Tuesday morning from the West Side Austin neighborhood have been found safe.

Jayla Watkins, 11, and her sister Savannah Coles, 6, were discovered missing at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to an alert from Area North detectives.

The girls left their guardian's home in the 5400 block of West Crystal Street, and authorities thought they may have been going to the 3800 block of West West End Avenue, where their biological mother lives, police said.

As of Tuesday evening, both girls had been found and appear to be in good condition, police said. No further details were provided.
