Garnish & Gather help you eat healthy, at home

Posted: Updated:

Remember when having a sit-down family dinner was a daily occurrence?

Lately, it's seemingly just not possible -- with working late, after work activities, fitness classes and children it's really tough to actually cook a healthy meal, at home.

Emily Nethero Golub, the founder of Garnish & Gather and Danielle Moore, the mealtime manager of Garnish & Gather are leading the "Healthy Ready-To-Cook At Home" trend.

They say people don't cook for four reasons:

  • Recipe Rut: 87% want more variety in their dinners but are stuck in the same recipes!
  • Hurried/Time Strapped: 80% of people want to make cooking more convenient but haven't found a solution. 77% of people have limited time to plan and grocery shop
  • How to Eat Healthy: People who eat away from home are 4X more likely to be overweight according to Harvard University study
  • Confidence in the Kitchen: 3 of 4 people want to make better dinners and learn how to prepare and practice new techniques for cooking.
