NFL draft prospects may want to watch their Twitter habits – Vikings general manager Rick Spielman is watching you.
USA Today reported Spielman commented on the issue during the NFL Scouting Combine inside the Lucas Oil Stadium, concerned about the "immaturity" of many players in a draft class with a record 98 underclassmen. Spielman says he tracked 60 players on Twitter and red-flagged eight of them.
He didn't go into detail about what a red flag entailed or which athletes he noticed, but said it's "amazing" that some players tweet about drug use and partying.
Spielman said the team wrote a report based on prospects' Twitter accounts alone and he planned to address those issues at the NFL Combine.
