Peaches' Smokehouse Food Truck

Posted: Updated:

Peaches' Smokehouse and Southern Kitchen is a chef-driven gourmet food truck serving slow-smoked barbecue and from-scratch Southern fare made with humanely raised meat and sustainable ingredients.

The only food truck serving Carolina-style BBQ in Los Angeles, Peaches' got its start after owners Chef Ryan "Peaches" Lamon and wife Diana Lamon won the Cooking Channel show, Food Truck Face Off, in 2013.

Chef Peaches is a second-generation Georgia pit master and trained restaurant chef who previously cooked at Fatty Crab in New York City and later earned a Bon Apetit nod in 2012 as the opening Chef de Cuisine of Plum Alley in Salt Lake City.

He takes pride in the food truck's food and believes in preparing each dish from scratch (everything from their BBQ sauce to their pimento cheese to their pickles are made in house) and sourcing as many local, seasonal ingredients as possible.

Some of the food truck's most popular items include their Pulled Pork Sandwich, Fried Chicken Sandwich, Country-Fried Steak and Southern Patty Melt.

Redneck Nachos aka BBQ Fries - waffle fries topped with pulled pork, house BBQ sauce and seasoned sour cream (crispy, meaty, smoky with a touch of creamy!)

Country-fried Steak Sandwich - tender fried Angus steak with peach aioli, lettuce and onions (hard to find in Los Angeles)

Southern Patty Melt - grass-fed beef patty with melted house pimento cheese and grilled onions and serrano peppers.

Chef Ryan "Peaches" Lamon won the food truck on the 2013 Cooking Channel show, Food Truck Face Off. Peaches' uses humanely raised meat for our BBQ and as many local, sustainable ingredients as possible (a rarity in BBQ!)

Chef Peaches is a trained restaurant chef who earned a Bon Apetit nod in 2012, the only food truck in LA serving Carolina-style BBQ.

Owned and operated by husband and wife, Ryan and Diana Lamon, Peaches' food is made from scratch --  from our BBQ sauce to our pickles. Chef Peaches smokes all our meat in house.

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
