MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Timberwolves forward Kevin Love was named Western Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season for games played between Feb. 17 and 23.

Love lifted the Wolves past the Indiana Pacers who are leading the Eastern Conference with 42 points and 16 boards on Feb. 19 and then hit the road to help destroy the Utah Jazz and earn the first triple-double of his career with 37 points, 12 rebounds and a career-high 10 assists.

The Pacers game marked Love's fourth 40-plus point performance of the season.

Despite a 2-1 record on the week, Love averaged 36.7 points (second in NBA) on 57.1% shooting, 12.7 rebounds (4th in NBA) and 3.7 assists per game.

The Wolves fell to the Blazers on the road Sunday, but Love closed out the week with 31 points and 10 rebounds despite a 108-97 loss.
