SIU student may have died of hypothermia

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Hypothermia may be the cause of death for a missing Southern Illinois University student found dead in the woods.

The final results on the body of Pravin Varughese of Morton Grove are pending but exposure to the cold weather seems to what killed the student.

He was last seen leaving a party a week ago three miles from where his body was found Tuesday in a wooded area of Carbondale.

Police at this point do not suspect foul play.
