Daughter Confesses To Stabbing Mom

KNOX COUNTY, TN -

A Tennessee woman told a reporter she had to kill her mother because of a satanic curse.

Police were investigating the stabbing of the 61-year-old victim at this apartment in Knox County Tuesday morning.

A neighbor of the victim said she believed the victim's daughter was responsible and while police and the press were still on scene.

The suspect Katie Nichols came up to a reporter and admitted she had to kill her mother because her mother was the ringleader of a satanic cult- and was trying to kill her granddaughter.

"The satanic cult in this city has been casting satanic spells on me for three, four days. I'm exhausted. I came home and found out my mom was the ringleader and was trying to kill my daughter," Nichols said. "I had to kill her; she was going to kill both of us. She was so powerful, I had no idea. I had no idea that my mother was that powerful."

Katie says when she left the home her mother was still breathing. She stabbed her three times.

"She was still breathing. I don't know what happened to her afterwards or where they took her or what exactly happened, but she was the anti-Christ. She did not die," Nichols said.

Katie says she took her daughter went her car, and drove to a rural area and waited for a sign that it was safe to come back.

"She had symbolic representations of my death, my daughter's death, every nuclear explosion that was supposed to happen that's not going to now. Because the satanic cult has been rounded up and killed now," Nichols said.

The victim was stabbed in neck, chest, and stomach. Nichols faces charges of first degree attempted murder.
