FOX 2 was a big winner in Real Detroit Weekly's annual Best of Detroit issue.

Real Detroit staff and readers picked FOX 2 as the Best Local News, while Huel Perkins was named Best Local Anchorperson and Dan Miller Best Sportscaster.

Jessica Starr was named the Best-Dress News Anchor and Charlie LeDuff took home the title of Best Media Personality.

In choosing FOX 2, Real Detroit writes:

Considering ya'll chose four of the stations anchors in our Best Of (Huel Perkins, Charlie LeDuff, Dan Miller and Jessica Starr), it wasn't a surprise that you also chose FOX 2 as the best place to get local news. A hub for weather, traffic, sports, entertainment and more, FOX 2 is there for you when you need it, reporting everything that you need to know. They keep a full staff of charismatic reporters and they've proven time and time again that they are willing to get down to the bottom of things.

For Perkins, this is his third straight Best Local Anchorperson title. "Perkins shows that he really cares about Detroit and for that, we really care about him," states the article.

The Best of Detroit issue is on newsstands now.
