Meteorology Musical Storms The Stage at Center For Puppetry Arts

Posted: Updated:

Weather has been the big story here in North Georgia lately, with historic ice and snow dominating headlines. So is it any surprise that it's also taking over Atlanta's Center For Puppetry Arts?

"Weather Rocks!" sets meteorology to music, bringing puppets to the stage to sing about the science behind various weather events. The show features several kinds of puppets, including hand, rod, shadow, body and string, and the music is just as varied, with Gospel, R&B, Punk, Country and Rock represented among other styles.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken -- himself a meteorologist -- got to check out the show and hang out with his puppet colleagues. Click the video to see his preview of "Weather Rocks!"
