Crack open a Surly on your next Sun Country flight

Posted: Updated:
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

You can now crack open one of Minnesota's own Surly brews on your next Sun Country flight.

Passengers on all Sun Country flights can buy cans of Surly Furious, Hell and Bender for $7 in coach and at no cost in first class.

The ability to enjoy your favorite microbrew at 30,000 feet is becoming more commonplace -- other airlines are also entering into partnerships with the burgeoning craft brew industry.

Southwest just announced a partnership with Colorado's New Belgium Brewing and now offers Fat Tire on all 683 Southwest and AirTran planes.

Alaska Airlines customers traveling between Anchorage and Fairbanks and Anchorage and Kodiak can enjoy Silver Gulch Brewing and Bottling Co.'s Old 55 Pale Ale.

Frontier is offering a new Colorado microbrew every three months on all flights originating in Denver.
