St. Paul police warn of scam donation calls

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KMSP) -

The St. Paul Police Department has issued a warning about a phone scam in the metro in which the caller claims to be a police representative collecting donations for a safety program.

"If someone does request your information, don't give them your numbers," St. Paul police warned on Twitter. "This is not an authorized program by the SPPD."
