In one word…. Nope! I understand this is the opposite of what many were hoping for. You have been hearing it for weeks and even months, what if there is snow for the Superbowl? Then you have been hearing "forecasts" from accuweather, the Farmer's almanac, and many other glorified weather enthusiast organizations calling for an epic snow storm to rock the northeast this weekend. Well, in the end… it was all for not. It does NOT look like there will be any snow for the Superbowl this year. It's a bit anticlimactic but the weather will not be playing a huge role in the game on Sunday. Temperatures look like they will hover in the 40's most of the day and fall through the low 40's and into the upper 30's through the game. There is an outside chance for a sprinkle or a little bit of light rain, but all things point to little if any actually accumulating rainfall. So the teams and the fans won't be able to blame a loss on either team for anything other than terrible play. Here is the Superbowl planner… All times list are Eastern Standard Time. You can watch the Fox9 Morning News from 7-8am and 9-10am Sunday morning for the latest on what we are expecting here for Superbowl Sunday. Plus, we will be airing an hour long special from 10-11am with all the Superbowl info you can handle.
