A city of Edina spokeswoman confirmed a woman went into labor while stuck in snowy traffic on Highway 100 at Benton Avenue. An emergency crew took the woman to Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, where she arrived before the baby was born.

CAR FIRE AT 169 and 94

A driver was pulled from a burning car at Highway 169 and Interstate 94 at about 5 a.m. According to State Patrol Lt. Eric Roeske, the driver was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. VIDEO

WATER MAIN BURSTS UNDER HWY 100

A water main burst under Highway 100 at 26th Street in St. Louis Park, stalling traffic on Interstate 394 and Highway 100. City crews shut off the water supply, leaving businesses and residents in the area without water until about 9 a.m.
