Playtex pacifier holder clip recall

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - Playtex has issued a voluntary recall of the Playtex Pacifier Holder Clip, because the product can crack and a small part can break off which poses a choking hazard to small children. No reports of injury have been received.

Consumers should immediately take the recalled pacifier holders away from infants and contact Playtex for instructions on how to return the product for a full refund. For questions or instructions on how to return the product for a full refund, please contact Playtex at 1-888-220-2075 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday or contact it online.

The recall is being conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

    McDonald's reported a lower profit for the first quarter as the world's biggest hamburger chain saw global sales remain weak.The Oak Brook, Ill.-based company said global sales edged up 0.5 percent at established restaurants.  In the U.S., the figure fell 1.7 percent as customer traffic declined.
