Three dead in Nashville house fire

NASHVILLE, Ga. -

The Wednesday morning fire that claimed the life of three people in Nashville, Georgia has been ruled accidental.

Fire Investigators with Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner Ralph Hudgens' say the fire originated in the kitchen and was a result of unattended cooking.

Hudgens says "we found nothing suspicious about this tragic fire."

The blaze began around 3:25 a.m. and killed Arturo Garcia, 39, his stepson, Toby Hawkins, 16, and family friend Christopher Rowan, 17. Three others were able to escape.

Nashville Police and the Office of the Fire Commissioner conducted this investigation.
