2 men charged in Hudson, Wis. liquor store shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Two men have been charged in connection with a triple shooting that took place Sunday morning near a Hudson, Wis. liquor store popular among Minnesotans looking to buy alcohol on Sundays.

Police confirmed 2 men and 1 woman were shot around 9:30 a.m. near Spirit Seller Liquors. Suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a Cadillac, spotted by Eagan police and later detained at SpringHill Suites Marriott hotel in Bloomington, Minn.

Minneapolis men Guled Bile Abdi, 22, and Ahmed Farah Hirsi, 26, were each charged with 6 counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, 3 counts of first-degree reckless injury and 6 counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety. Both are currently being held at the Hennepin County Jail awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.

Abdirahman Abdirzak Hersi, 23, of Minneapolis and Mohamed Deballa Hussein, 21, of Savage, Minn. have both been released from the hospital. The woman injured in the shooting -- 28-year-old Fartun Ibrahim Aidid of Hopkins, Minn. -- remained hospitalized Monday.
