Comfort food with Table & Main chef

Chef Woody Back from Table & Main stopped by Good Day Atlanta to demonstrate the art of comfort food, to our viewers.

Back prepared a craft comfort food dish showcased his black skillet cornbread and fried chicken. Back said he combined two comfort foods to create the perfect dish, his Meatloaf Meatballs.

Here's how you can make them, yourself:

  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 5 whole eggs
  • 1/2 can of roasted green chili
  • 1/2 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt, Kosher
  • 1 teaspoon of spice, black pepper
  • 1/2 sleeve of Ritz cracker crumbs
  • 5 lbs. of ground beef
  1. Dice and saute the onion
  2. Mix all ingredients until completely combined
  3. Measure the meatballs at 3 oz.
  4. Roll in seasoned flour and roast at 350 degrees until dark and cooked throughout
  5. Store in beef broth until ready to serve
  6. Glaze in ketchup or preferred BBQ sauce
