(WJBK) -- Video released by the U.S. Coast Guard shows a dramatic air rescue this week over a frozen Lake St. Clair.

The video, posted Jan. 14, shows crew members from Air Station Detroit as they hoist an injured man into a Coast Guard MH-65 Dolphin helicopter. The man was injured when his all-terrain vehicle overturned on the ice during a fishing trip 2 miles from the Ontario shore.

When crews arrived, a rescue swimmer was deployed to assess and stabilize the man, a U.S. citizen, before he was hoisted aboard and transported to an Ontario hospital.
