The Cedar Cultural Center has released the lineup of acts scheduled for the Friday, Jan. 24 benefit for victims of the New Year's Day building explosion and fire on Cedar Avenue.
Scheduled to perform are Spider John Koerner, Brass Messengers, Martin Devaney, Phil Heywood, Jon Rodine, Southside Desire, Augsburg JIVE and DJ GoGetta with SYAV (Somali Youth Against Violence).

Students with ID, seniors over 65, and children under 12 may purchase tickets at a discount at the door (subject to ticket availability).
The explosion was reported at 8:16 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 516 Cedar Avenue – a building that includes a grocery store, several apartment units upstairs, and is connected to the Islamic Civic Society of America & Masjid Dar Al-Hijrah mosque on the ground floor.
14 people were hospitalized and two men died inside the fire. One of the victims later died at the hospital, bringing the death toll to 3.
