As we turn the calendar page to another year its always fun to take a look back at the previous year. 2013 was a year where we saw winter hang on until May. Who can forget the constant snowfall just as we were at the height of spring fever. The snow finally did melt with a freaky high of 98° on that Tuesday in mid May. The months of June and July saw the rains that never ended and the frequent storms that blew through the metro. The month of August saw some of the largest hail in years across large portions of the metro. The fall months were pretty tranquil and then we saw an early blast of winter with cold temps arriving well before December 21st.
Below are just a few of the weather extremes for the Twin Cities for the year 2013.
