This morning on Good Day LA, Executive Chef Mike Doctulero from Scott's Restaurant & Bar in Costa Mesa showed us how to make some easy, festive, last minute appetizers to make for your New Year's Eve party tonight! Check out the recipes that Tony Potts and Araksya taste tested this morning!

If you still need to make a last minute reservation - there are two seatings still available at Scott's Restaurant & Bar. The First seating (before 7pm) is just $65 per person and the second seating is $95 per person and includes a Champagne toast at midnight, party favors, admittance into Scott's private lounge event, entertainment & dancing, your private reserved table for the remainder of the evening & more!!

Cucumber wrapped warm brie with walnuts
1 whole cucumber
4 1/2 inch cubes of Brie
2 T chopped walnuts
1 T olive oil
1 t ground  black pepper
6 toothpicks or sandwich picks
 
Citrus broiled chicken canapé toast
4 ozs broiled chicken breast
¼ cup orange juice
1 T sriracha
2 T chopped green onions
2 slices bread (any type)
2 T rice wine vinegar
2 T chopped cilantro
¼ cup mayonnaise
