1. Set a PLANK goal
The "Plank" is a great way to measure Core Strength & works your abs, back, obliques and more effectively. Set a PLANK Goal, adding 5 seconds each week.
2. Once and for all, eliminate confusion on "Whole" foods!
Whole grain has the entire kernel of the grain from the bran to the endosperm to the germ. Whole wheat has the bran and germ removed during the refining process and is left containing only the endosperm. Unfortunately, the majority of vitamins and fiber are contained in the wheat bran and wheat germ that is shed during the refining process.
3. Join "PREP" School
Learn how to prep and how to do it effectively. (CARRIE: SEE ATTACHED PIC so we can show my prep! Thank you!)
4. Get Water-Logged
Research shows that drinking sufficient amount of water helps you metabolize food more efficiently, is great for your skin and helps you feel more full longer. Shoot for 64 oz / day and track your progress with tick marks on your water bottle.
5. Set your goals WEEKLY instead of for the year.
This seems so realistic with our jobs, but what about our health? Each week for work, many have meetings to discuss "action items". Look at your fitness goal as a WEEKLY process with benchmark goals instead of a yearly goal.
