SNELLVILLE, Ga. -

It was a PG-rated movie experience that turned into an X-rated nightmare for two best friends. The teens went to the see the new film about Justin Bieber at a Snellville theater where a man exposed himself to them.

"The two girls were in the theater by themselves. An older man came in mid-way through the movie and sat down one seat away from the two girls," said Snellville Police Detective Linda Okonkwo.

The 13-year-old Justin Bieber fans used their Christmas money to buy tickets to the pop star's movie "Believe". It was a movie they never got to finish watching inside the Regal Snellville Oaks Theater on Thursday because police say a man exposed himself to them.

"One could see because he had on a bright orange shirt. He had his hands in his pants. His private area," said Det. Linda Okonkwo. "They said an usher came in, shined a light and left. They decided, 'We're just going to make a run for it.'"

The girls ran to the theater restroom and called their mothers who in turn alerted the police. By the time officers arrived, the man was gone. Detectives viewed surveillance video and have a description.

"(He is a) Hispanic male, believed to be about 60 years old, give or take a couple of years, balding, about 5'6" medium build. He got into a cream colored or white SUV," said Det. Linda Okonkwo.

Police say the young ladies did the right thing by removing themselves from danger.

"They're spunky little girls. I think they were just shaken up. Because something like that presented itself to them and it's something they never dreamed could happen. They said he was like a grandfather," said Det. Linda Okonkwo. "People like this keep going. I told them they did a wonderful job."

Anyone with information on who the man might be is asked to call the Snellville Police Department at 770-985-3555.
