Granlund returns to the ice for Wild

Posted: Updated:

Mikael Granlund returned to practice today for the first time since suffering a concussion on November 29th against Phoenix. While it is uncertain when the talented forward would be inserted into the lineup, Granlund told head coach Mike Yeo he planned to play Tuesday against Vancouver. While that will all fall into place, the face Granlund was able to get on the ice was a good first step.

"It felt good," Granlund said. "This is my first skate with the team now. That's a start. We just have to keep building."

Granlund has scored 2 goals and has 10 assists in 24 games for the Wild this season.
