Electricity has been restored for 32 residents in west suburban Aurora who were affected by a power outage early Saturday.
An underground cable failure in downtown Aurora near Lake Street and Galena Boulevard knocked out power there about 2 a.m., city spokesman Dan Ferrelli said.
The outage left 32 customers in the area without power, according to ComEd.
As of about 6 p.m., power had been restored, according to Dan Ferrelli, media relations manager for the City of Aurora.
The cause of the cable failure is under investigation.
