Mega Millions jackpot tops $425 million Friday

TALLAPOOSA, Ga. -

Friday the 13th might just end up being the lucky day if they can match six numbers and one Mega Ball as the Mega Millions Jackpot rolls over to an estimated at $425 million to a single winner over 30 years.

Friday's winning numbers were 27 - 26 - 24 - 19 - 70 and the Mega Ball was 12 with a Megaplier of 2x.

People all over Georgia were buying up a ticket to try to hit the jackpot. People in Alabama, who doesn't have the game, were spotted crossing over into Tallapoosa to buy a ticket.

All Georgia Lottery proceeds are used to fund initiatives to support college education and pre-kindergarten programs in the state.

Officials say since its inception, Georgia Lottery has given more than $14.8 billion to support education in Georgia.
