Former President George H.W. Bush has joined his sons as a member of Twitter. Bush used his first tweet to honor the late South African President Nelson Mandela during his funeral.
The tweet read: " Barbara and I wish we could have joined the U.S. delegation honoring President Mandela today. He, and his countrymen, are in our prayers."
The 41st president has already garnered thousands of followers, many of them in the first hour or so after joining the social media site.
