ANTIOCH, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Two men, one from Wisconsin and another from Antioch, were in court this week on burglary charges for separate crimes in unincorporated Antioch and Gurnee, the News-Sun is reporting.

Christopher Stachura, 28, of the 11000 block of 277th Ave., Trevor, Wis., was arrested Nov. 8 with the help of a neighbor who saw the suspect enter a window of a home in the 36000 block of Douglas Terrace in unincorporated Gurnee. The resident reported the suspicious activity and a sheriff's deputy waited outside the window while other officers surrounded the building, police said.

Officials said he exited the building with burglary proceeds stuffed into his pockets. He was later charged with residential burglary and possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $75,000 and he was due in Lake County Circuit Court on Thursday, Dec. 5 for a status hearing.

Near Antioch Michael S. Roman, 28, of the 42000 block of N. Lake Drive, unincorporated Antioch, was arrested and later charged with burglarizing a home in the 25000 block of North Ave. and was charged with burglary. His bond was set at $250,000 and he was also due in court Thursday for a status hearing.
