Minnesota Orchestra musicians move on without management

Posted: Updated:
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

They've been locked out for more than a year, but the Minnesota Orchestra musicians are still trying to bring music to the community.

The musicians held a public meeting Monday to review the past year and unveil plans for the future, including future concerts without or without management.

The musicians also formed a nonprofit that raised more than $60,000 on Give to the Max Day and more than $300,000 since August.

Despite the labor dispute, the Minnesota Orchestra was still nominated for a Grammy this weekend.
