Quick & Easy Spaghetti and Meatballs

A kid friendly meal you can cook with your children in your own home. Will be available as a special through the Kids Eat Free in downtown Royal Oak restaurant promotion now through the Holiday Season.

4oz spaghetti pasta

16 oz ground beef

Pinch onion powder

Granulated garlic

Salt & pepper

2 eggs

4oz breadcrumbs

1 can of plum tomatoes

1/2 white onion, chopped

1 can of tomato purée

Tomato paste

And fresh grated Parmesan

Pre heat oven to 325 degrees.

Put on a pot of water to heat for pasta.

Place ½ of the chopped onions with a little oil in a pan and cook until translucent.

Add tomato products and gently heat until simmering.

Place ground beef in a bowl with the remaining onion, onion powder, granulated garlic, eggs and breadcrumbs.

Mix thoroughly until well mixed (either by hand or in a mixer) (this is fun to get kids involved).

Portion into approximately 1 ounce balls.

Sear in a pan with a little oil.

Place in an oven proof container topped with sauce and cook for 12 to 15 minutes.

Place pasta into water and cook until desired texture.

Remove meatballs and sauce from oven and place over drained pasta.

Finish with fresh parmesan cheese.
