Obamacare Is One Big Mess

VP/GM Kevin T. Hale, FOX 11 News VP/GM Kevin T. Hale, FOX 11 News

Obamacare is one big mess.

If there is any question at all that the ACA is a total disaster, then consider this: There have only been 106,000 official signups since the chaos began on October 1, 2013.  I repeat: 106,000.

That's significantly smaller than the population of Glendale.

I'd like to hear your Point of View. Send me an email at POV@fox11.com and follow me on Twitter @POVFOX11.

The President would like us to believe if the train wreck known as the A-C-A website is fixed, then sign-ups will flood in.

The truth is already that many younger, healthier people are not enrolling.

Less than a quarter of the current 106,000 signups is under the age of 35.

Worse -- many younger people, like 28-year-old tutor Tina Polito from Westlake Village, became disgusted with Obamacare after her health plan was canceled.

Polito is so angry she is thinking of going without health insurance and paying the fine.

Without enough young healthy enrollees, A-C-A premiums will go through the roof to cover older, sicker recipients.

More and more younger people will be priced out of the health care system.

As this A-C-A death spiral unfolds, the American people cannot endure ever rising health insurance costs.

If a higher percentage of younger people do not enroll in the next few months, Obamacare should be scraped.

We all deserve better.

Thanks for listening.
