Today's entertainment report has a musical edge for sure.

First up, a really cool new toy company designed to give little girls alternatives to princess dolls made one kind of big mistake. Looks like they forget to ask permission! A relatively new toy company blinked in it's possible legal show down with the Beastie Boys. It's all over the use of the song "Girls". The toy company Goldieblox had filed a pre-emptive fair use law suit against the Beastie Boys this week after the group let it be known that they never let their songs be used in commercials. Goldieblox has had a change of heart saying they don't want to fight with the surviving members of the group.

Next, at the young age of 23 Taylor Swift has done a lot of cool stuff and won a lot of awards. I am thinking what happened Tuesday night has to rank up near the top. Taylor swift sang back up with Prince William and Jon bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer." It all went down at Kensington Palace for the winter white gala, a charity for youth homelessness.

And Crystal Bowersox was on Good Day LA Wednesday morning. Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone talked with her about a lot of things, including the fact that the former American Idol runner up has never really hid her bi-sexuality.  And then lucky for us she sang, kind of a preview of her two concerts this weekend, which are Saturday at McCabes in Santa Monica and The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano on Sunday.
