MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Fox 9 crews are on the scene of a reported shooting just outside downtown Minneapolis where multiple evidence markers could be seen on Lyndale Place, just west of Interstate 94.

The scene is just up the street from International Market Square, and initial reports indicate a person was shot in the head and two men were seen running from the area.

The victim was believed to have been shot on North 5th Avenue, and was transported to HCMC with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say they expect him to survive.

No arrests have been announced, and police did not comment on a possible motive for the gunfire.

Neighbors tell Fox 9 News they heard a volley of gunfire and took cover, with many estimating roughly 8 shots being fired at about 8 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Crime scene investigators have since cleared the location.
